As a Civil Celebrant, I am authorised to solemnise marriages according to the Marriage Act 1961. 
 

I am required to conduct myself in accordance with the Code of Practice for marriage celebrants.

I will also provide signed marriage paperwork to the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages in the

State or Territory where your ceremony takes place within fourteen days of the marriage.
